Cheryl Hartman is our multi-tasking Director of Christian Education and Office Manager. A native of the Atlanta area, Cheryl is a graduate of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, and has a B.S. from Berry College with a major in Business Administration and minor in Psychology. After a couple of years in the work world she returned to school to get a Masters degree in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education in 1987.
Since getting her Master’s degree Cheryl has been working in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in different situations. First as a Director of Christian Education in three congregations, then as a Program Director at Calvin Center, then as the Camp Director/Executive Director of the camp and retreat center in Northern Virginia for almost 13 years.
Cheryl is glad to be back living on the 62 acre family farm with her mother, niece and her husband and two sons. She is a farmer, Notary Public, a certified Dog Trainer and is attempting painting. She loves some time on the tractor to think, pray, talk with God and consider the issues of life. Cheryl is an elder at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Lilburn, GA.
